in my home. i'm always incorporating thrift store finds into our nest. rearranging, changing out, paring down. "bring something in, take something out" and all that. i've said it before, there's nothing like the character of old things.
because of the produce show thing, i've been suffering thrift store burnout and thus, haven't been doing much shopping lately. but I DID stop at an out-of-town shop the other day and came home with this set of La Creuset cast iron pans.....orange, nonetheless! score!!
this will be a light fixture in the boy's room....someday.
after a good cleaning, this will go on the bathroom wall. imagining it mounted on the wall of a glue-smelling elementary classroom in the 50's makes me smile.
getting ready to fold laundry yesterday in my bedroom, i remembered that i had said something in this space about doing a bedroom mini-makeover including a promise to reveal it later. hmmm, don't think i ever did that! so, i snapped off a couple of pictures of part of the wall behind my bed. i did scrap together a lovely duvet cover but it's in a heap on the ground right now awaiting mending.
