So, I realized that I had posted a bathroom "before" photo but never any "after" shots. Oops, sorry. (And, yes, the bedroom pics will be posted someday.) In this picture below, I had already painted the boring, stock vanity base white, distressed it and primed the upper half of the walls.
After a weekend of elbow grease (thanks, honey), we had a bright new space. I'm so pleased. I wish we could wainscot the whole house. One room down.....
(I have yet to give it a coat of white...if you look close you'll see the nail holes.)
I tried to splice this picture together, thus the funky angles.
I don't really have any resources to share. The ladder was formerly used for apple-picking and I picked it (hee, hee) up at an antique sale a while ago. The red owl shelf came from an antique/flea market last summer. All the other accessories have been purchased over time at a nearby antique mall. I think the flower hooks were from Anthropologie. If anyone wants to know the name of the blue paint color, just zip me an email and I'll let you know.
