what to remember when all is sinking

"As for God, His way is perfect:
The LORD’s word is flawless;
He shields all who take refuge in Him.
For who is God besides the LORD?
And who is the Rock except our God?"

It is God who arms me with strength
and keeps my way secure."
Psalm 18:30-32

"Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from Him.
Truly He is my rock and my salvation;
He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God;
He is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to Him,
for God is our refuge."
Psalm 62:5-8

My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
heart
  When darkness seems to hide His face,

I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my Hope and Stay.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

"O my soul, bless God. From head to toe,
I'll bless his holy name!
O my soul, bless God,
don't forget a single blessing!"
Psalm 103:1

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer."
Psalm 19:14

And may I bless Christ my Solid Rock through the counting out of His daily gifts.

whipping wind that howls reminding of His power
visiting parents
golden curl grazing her forehead
her asleep on my lap
spring!
boys in waders in the swollen creek
citrus-garlic roasted chicken and gravy
losing time in a book
smoothest sand and water worn stones
cold sand through my toes
plans as He wills
putting on comfy clothes
that one jumbo egg from hen Alice
sisters in Christ
the body praying
friends who reach out
He's hope for weary feet
He's stability for the muddy path
He's solid when all else is sinking
