Same shirt of Daddy's, same day every year, many photos clicked off. "Does it fit me yet, Mom?"
Earlier in the day, we convinced my parents that we wouldn't injure them
if they would just come with us for a quick snowmobile ride.
Good sport, Papa, rode the jet sled with Little Sis while I pulled them.
(Only rolled them once! :)
Mormor (mother's mother in Swedish) took a little more convincing than Papa
but she ended up having fun!
And, a-hem, we may have had a Nerf gun shootout after those kids were in bed. "I bet you can't hit West Virginia from here!" There will be a Nerf rematch soon, I'm sure, as my husband is chomping at the bit to dethrone the champ. Yes, I'm gooood with the Nerf gun.
ALL IS GIFT!
"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter
and your lips with shouts of joy."

3,285 days with this son of ours
all that God has made him to be
his Mommy-loving ways
and tender heart
how he wants to be just like his Daddy
those blue eyes that melt Mommy's heart
his love for Jesus and His Word
savoring the fleeting time with him here
excitement over what God has in store for that boy
parents here for a visit
midnight grocery store date
cinnamon rolls rising
boy "too old for a theme party, Mom"
lotion soothing dry winter skin
Mom and Dad zooming along on the snowmobiles
we're only as old as we feel/act/believe!
his request for aunt-made chocolate cheesecake
sunshine on a Sunday!!!
Rejoicing with you in the day He has made,
