Can you smell the pine and the cinnamon and the chocolate as you step up to the screen door?
The house is aflutter with creativity.
Won't you join us inside?
Someone is resting.
The rest of us are happily busy with creative pursuits...a bit of writing and reading and painting and baking and gift making.
I finally put all the ideas that were pinballing around my head down onto paper. Gifts to make, ways to bless. Rooms to paint. Ideas. Other things that just have to get done. That free printable paper entices me to make list upon list.
See that cool yarn? It makes a pretty garland for the tree! I couldn't find it online but this multi-colored pom-pom yarn is too cute!
And speaking of yarn, I've been having so much fun making pom-poms for Lucy's hair. Here's a simple tutorial, the same way I made them, if you want to try too!
Also, just LOOK at this yummy, beautiful, thick baker's twine that came in the mail from etsy the other day. (Tell me you know all about etsy, right? It's my very, very favorite place to window shop and occasionally buy from.) I've been searching for different twines and this was the only thick kind I found. You can find it here.
Hoops for giving similar to the ones I gifted last year and my own seen below.
Sometimes the kids will awake to find the table overtaken by supplies set out for endless art and crafting possibilities....and we just eat somewhere else that day!
Scrumptious smells have been pouring out from the oven. These bars were a big hit. Mmmm...
And, I have to say, if you're not sure what to make for dinner (and you're a meat-eater), MAKE THIS RECIPE. Oh, oh, ohhhhhh....I'm salivating just remembering how it tasted last night. Seriously, everyone here loved it! Hmmmm....I think there's some left in the fridge...
Well, I need to be off and busy my hands with something other than typing!
Thanks for visiting with us.
It was so good to have you! :)
Drop me a line and we can visit some more!
