Yes! A victory for the fisherman and his helpers but a loss for the king salmon. Well, not a complete loss as he was released right away and swam off full of spunk.

Sun setting, a hike back to the car ahead of us, we packed it up and headed out, Mama lagging behind to catch His glory bits along the way.

I was branded with the handle, "Dead Eye", for spotting this decomposing porcupine. We looked up the 80' tall tree next to him and figured he met his demise by a fall from it. It was cool to be able to feel a quill.

Sunset's radiant beams turned the woods into pure drama. Pure Him.  Breathtaking.....
