may I ask a favor? (*UPDATED)

I'm sitting here...in this foreign, hospital issue chair...waiting for them to come whisk my husband off to the operating room.  Don't worry...

it's nothing life-threatening....he's having back surgery today (at 3:00EST).

It was scheduled for the end of April but had to be moved up because he may have overdone it when we hiked in that Nevada canyon just over a week ago.  He's been home from work all week, but we're confident that this surgery should take care of his issues.

Well, they came and got him while I was writing this.  So, he's just gone into surgery now.

May I ask you to lift him and the doctors up to the Lord in prayer?

We rest easy...fully confident that we are never out of His hands.

Thanks, Megan

*UPDATE:  How can I thank you for your prayers?!  My husband is doing well....at home resting and pain-free (with meds) for now.  He's looking forward to being back at full capacity in a month or so.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for praying!
